First Time Visiting?

Welcome to BPT!

What should I expect?

Our services start at 10:30, and people are often visiting and welcoming before the service. We start with music, there is an opportunity for prayer, a time for giving, followed by a Bible-centred message that is engaging and applicable to daily life. The service generally ends around Noon, and many people stick around for coffee and fellowship after the service.

Who usually comes? Will I fit in?

Everyone is welcome at Bethel Pentecostal Tabernacle! Our church is made up of a mix of young families, single people, seniors, kids, and everything in between. Never been to church before? That’s great; we’ve welcomed others who are new to it, and we’d love to welcome you, too.

What should I wear?

Whatever is in your closet! Our church is fairly casual - no need to dress up, although you are welcome to if you want. We’ve seen everything from sweatpants and a paint-shirt to a full suit and tie, so as long as you’re wearing some kind of clothes, you’ll fit right in.

What else does the church do?

We believe the church is not just a building, and not just on Sunday mornings. So there are often other events going on during the week - typically a Thursday night Bible Study, Prayer Meetings once a month, and special events like the Community Christmas Banquet and Easter Breakfast throughout the year. Also, a huge focus of our church every year is on Kids Rock Camp. We believe in blessing the community of Clinton, so members of our church are involved in the Food Bank, coaching sports, serving on different committees, and being a light in our community. If you live in Clinton, you’ve probably met some of us already!

Is there something for Kids?

We were hoping you’d ask! Bethel Pentecostal Tabernacle is passionate about teaching kids about Jesus. Kids are always welcome at BPT. They’ll enjoy the singing to start the service, and once it’s time for the sermon there is a Kids program in the “Adventure Room” right beside the sanctuary. Also, make sure to check out our church’s Summer Camp, Kids Rock Camp!
